ABOUT  THE  AUTHOR Segun M. Adedayo is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ilorin. He had been involved in the teaching of Engineering Drawing for over 25 years and at various times taught other related courses like Machine Drawing and Machine Design. He had an A1 in Technical Drawing at the G.C.E. (WAEC) examination. He was a member of the Faith Academy Governing Council, Ilorin for about 5 years and served as chairman between 2015 and 2017. He introduced new approaches to the teaching of Technical Drawing and some other Science subjects during his tenure that resulted in outstanding results in national and regional examinations written by the school. His specialization is Production Processes and Material Properties Control with over 40 publications in reputable journals to his credit and some patents.
